In a surprising collaboration that challenges traditional forecasts, Ubisoft has unveiled an digital crossover between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the acclaimed anime series Attack on Titan. The unusual Thanksgiving event runs from November 25 through December 22, providing complimentary extra story content for Shadows players.

Mysterious Adventure Uncovered

According to the official statement, "An unusual encounter pulls protagonists Naoe and Yasuke into a fresh mission, where whispers of banned rituals and fearsome changes resonate through the darkness." The narrative presents a "strangely garbed woman named Ada" who assigns the duo with journeying into the Crystal Cave—a important location from Attack on Titan—to liberate her companion from a clandestine sect.

The questline centers on "peculiar trials and a monstrous enemy" and is available to all players who have unlocked the Yasuke character.

Iconic Locations and Transformations

The teaser highlights the Hidden Temple from Attack on Titan reimagined as the Crystal Cave. This historic location was earlier where the Reiss royal family handed down the Founding Titan ability through ages. The preview concludes with a powerful sequence showing a character, probably the prisoner, morphing into a Titan that rises over Naoe and Yasuke.

Special Rewards and Additional Content

Players who finish the mission will receive an special katana together with numerous items secreted throughout the area in concealed chests. The update also features in-store Attack on Titan item packs, including:

Newest Free Story Update
