One Greater Manchester team has an non-professional vets team with nine former Premier League players in their current roster.

Wythenshawe Veterans Over-35s are located in southern the city and play in the Cheshire Veterans Division Premier Division.

"That's a little different but then, I enjoy running and just move inside - I'm not defending that much," he said.

"I tell my defender 'I'm not hanging back' and that I'm just going to continue running.

"The movement is what I'm seeking. It's enjoyable."
